Ethics & Sustainability

At Ninn Apouladaki, we care for our planet every step of the way !
We think that every producting and purchasing choice can make a difference,
in a world that must move to a more sustainable consumption,
that’s why each one of our creation is made in order to reduce our environmental footprint.

Our credo

Each one of our creation is made from environmentally friendly materials, natural and/or recycled materials(wood, recycled paper or from sustainably managed forests, free solvents and PVC wallpapers, organic coton tshirts….)

Produce locally

85% of our creations is made localy, in Provence, in order to reduce our carbon footprint.
We work with craftsmen and family-owned companies.

Organic cotton

All of our clothes are made from organic cotton, Cotton grown without GM seeds, without harmfull and polluting pesticides and fertilizers, and with a better water management.

Cotton is alternated with food crops, giving farmers more diverse income while improving food security within the local community.

Organic production preserves the soil, while conventional cotton production destroys it.

The coton is produced in Bangladesh, as it can’t grow in Provence ! So to provide you with a quality product, we make sure that the cotton-growing and the conditions of the workers developing it are up to par with our standards.
Our supplier affiliation to Fairwear Foundation (Corporate Social Responsibility) as well as high standard certifications (GOTS, OCS 100, OCS Blended, OEKO TEX, REACH) prove its commitment to sustainable practices.

In short terms

Our serigraphies are made by a local family-owned company with water inks. In the short term, we hope to use only recycled textiles or deadstock residual fabrics left over by larger fashion houses , and for the serigraphy, to use organic base inks.

No waste

Each one of our packagings are made with the intention to be kept or reused in mind, to avoid unnecessary waste.

Ninn Apouladaki is a vegan brand therefore there are no animal products used in production.

Keep going

In 2010, the UN reported that the best way to protect the environment is to adopt a vegan/vegetarian diet, given the harmful effects of factory farming.

For each item we sell, we give 1€ to FON, a not-for-profit association who assist in the conservation and protection of threatened and endangered species, as well as habitat conservation efforts when and where possible.
